Top Left. I finished reading Eleanor & Park a while ago (you can read my book review here!), and was on the hunt for something else to read. Gone Girl has been on my list for a while, but it always got shoved back in favor of spontaneous reads. So finally, I picked it up at Target just before leaving California. I'm not too far into it yet, but what I have read, I've certainly enjoyed.
Top Right. While on break, I got the opportunity to have lunch with a past music teacher and her daughter. I'm so thankful that I had the chance to catch up with them before heading back to North Carolina. Hearing that her dreams for the future are quickly turning into real, tangible plans was so, so exciting. She's just an amazing human being. Oh, and the food was delicious, too!
Bottom Left. Most of my three weeks at home was spent putting together 2015's agenda in terms of this blog. I bought a new planner just for Keep Not Settling, and had way too much fun writing down ideas and planning posts. I took this picture on one of my particularly "busy" days, one when I got a heck of a lot finished. Hopefully you've already started to see the improvements I worked on over break!
Bottom Right. Last week I went out for dinner (AKA an appetizer and dessert) with two of my great friends from Salem. The opportunity to get off campus for an hour was much needed (cleaning this room was stressing me out). We started with a much-needed hot chocolate, since it was -5 fahrenheit outside. So, so cold. It's really these little moments with friends that I love the most about being here at Salem. I'm constantly surrounded by such incredible people.
Keep not settling,
