1 of 8.

The last post here went up on November 2nd. I can’t believe how fast the last 6ish weeks have gone. There is so much to catch up on, yet not a lot at all. Sitting down to write this post has been on my agenda since....well, for a while. Oops.

I’m proud to say that I’ve successfully made it through fall semester ALIVE. One down, seven to go.

November was a complete blur for me, preparing the final pieces of projects and working through the longest math chapter of my life. I was fortunate enough to spend Thanksgiving with one of my favorite Salem friends (a huge thank you to M’s family) since I wasn’t able to get back to California for the long weekend.

After Thanksgiving I jumped immediately into finals prep mode. Wow. I didn’t think I could drink so much coffee. I can’t recall how many hours I actually slept -- that’s probably why I’m still working on catching up now that I’m at home. Still, I can’t manage to actually sleep in....

Speaking of being home,  I’ve been back on the West Coast for nearly a week now, and it’s been fantastic. My two lifelong best friends met me at the airport (along with my dad, of course), and spent a few days in the good old Central Valley with me before Christmas.

Thankfully, my family made sure that we didn’t have much planned for the time that I’m home. Until January 4th, it’s safe to say that I’ll be living in pajama pants most days. Absolutely no regrets there, whatsoever. There’s also going to be a lot of Gilmore Girls, State of Affairs (new favorite!), CSI, NCIS... you name it.

Let me tell you, I never thought I’d actually miss getting to slump in front of the couch. I have a whole semester’s worth of television shows to start watching/catch up on. So exciting.

Keep not settling,
